"Have a happy holiday season"

Whenever I’ve replied to a particularly angry email or if I’m feeling particularly snarky, I’ve sometimes signed emails with:

Have a happy holiday season

I was particularly fond of using it in August or February. But I never really shared where I got it from. Until now.

So, this is a letter we found in my grandmother Arvilla’s house when we sorted through it after she died. It came from one of her sisters. It’s definitely one of my favourite passive-aggressive letters of all time.
